A woman who was admitted at the Labasa Hospital earlier this month with injuries has passed away while the police has classified her death as alleged murder.
The 29-year-old woman from Muanidevo, Dreketi was admitted on the 16th of this month and passed away a day later.
Divisional Crime Officer North Superintendent of Police Petero Tupici says the post mortem findings have determined there were internal injuries and they suspect foul play was involved.
Tupici says no one has been taken in for questioning.
He says that they are gathering reports and investigations are ongoing.
