Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu has issued a heartfelt plea to students, urging them to say no to drugs and to consider the long-term consequences of substance abuse—not only on themselves but also on their families.

Speaking as the chief guest at the John Wesley College student pass-out parade held at Albert Park, Tudravu reminded students of the sacrifices their parents make for their welfare and future.

Tudravu says his humble plea is to say no to drugs and think of the consequences it will have on you if you give in to drugs, and most importantly, think of your parents who are struggling to support your future.

He emphasized the importance of forward-thinking and self-discipline, reminding the students that they are the future leaders of the nation.

Tudravu also encouraged parents and guardians to continue investing in their children and said the more you invest in your children, the greater the return if they are guided on the right path.

Commissioner Tudravu says that a student’s future depends on the choices they make today.

He expressed his pride in seeing students reach this important milestone in their lives, noting the value of instilling discipline from an early age.
