A church pastor in his 30s who is alleged to have sexually assaulted 14 boys in a village in Gau has been remanded in custody by the Suva Magistrates Court.
Kaio Nakeke has been charged with 7 counts of indecent assault, 8 counts of sexual assault and 1 count of attempted rape.
The alleged incidents occurred between 2018 to 2021.
The court was also told that the 14 boys were between the ages of 10 to 16 years.
Police say the matter was reported by the Turaga Ni Koro.
The case will be called on 1st March.
