If we do not bring light to the lives of children living with cancer, we believe the society will not have a bright future.
The Director of Pacific Specialist Health, Parvish Kumar highlighted this after handing over a donation of $25,000 to WOWs Kids Fiji yesterday.
During the handing-over ceremony yesterday, Kumar says they admire the support held by WOWs Kids Fiji and are looking forward to supporting the children of Fiji.
He says while they remember the life of their mother Pratima Devi, they hope to offer support to children living with cancer and provide radiotherapy treatment for them at no cost once their radiotherapy service is available.
He adds that their radiotherapy treatment will be available in the coming year.
WOWS Kids Co-Founder, Sina Kami says it was a surprise for them to receive such an amount of assistance that will assist the children under their care.
Kami says they are fortunate to have organisations like the PSH that have been holding the light of hope to the sick children of Fiji.
