The Fiji Men’s football team are in Pool C with Tahiti and Northern Marianas for the upcoming Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands.
Fiji finished in third place in the 2019 Pacific Games and is expected to lift their standard this year.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Women’s football team is Pooled with Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands.
They finished third in the 2019 Pacific Games.
The draw was conducted based on the current seeding of OFC countries as well as current FIFA rankings as specified in the Pacific Games 2023 manual.
Defending champions for the men’s division, New Zealand, will not be participating this year while Papua New Guinea are defending champions for the women’s division.
