Pacific Energy launches new service station

Company remains strong with no job losses

Pacific Energy launches new service station

Pacific Energy launched their new fuel station at the Royal Suva Yacht Club marina yesterday and the company remains strong despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Engineering Manager for Pacific Energy, Edouard Guyot says the soft launch is to officially open the service station to people and to thank the contractors who have been working tirelessly on the project.

He says the service station will be exclusively for yachts that dock at the Marina.

Over $200,000 has been invested into the project and it has created an additional two jobs at the Marina.

The company will extend the station once previous contractors remove their assets and complete environmental testing on the grounds.

Pacific Energy took a major hit in its aviation and retail sectors due to the COVID-pandemic, however it is fortunate to have not suffered any job losses.
