Permanent Secretary for Local Government, Dimity Fifer has resigned.
Chairman of the Public Service Commission, Vishnu Mohan says Fifer has resigned in light of family circumstances and her last working day in Fiji will be 28th February, after which she plans to return to Australia.
He says an acting appointment for the position of Permanent Secretary for Local Government will be announced in due course.
