More than 400 people are still staying in 26 evacuation centres in the Northern Division.
Commissioner Northern, Uraia Rainima says they continue to carry out quick-fixes on damaged homes.
He says they are also constructing make-shift homes for evacuees to move into while they work on permanent-fixes.
He says the RFMF Engineers are carrying out these works around Vanua Levu.
