Police are yet to lay any charges in the stabbing case in Bougainville, Nabua on Saturday night.
A 41-year-old man is still in custody at the Nabua Police Station.
Police say the 31-year-old wife who was stabbed in the incident is still admitted at the CWM Hospital.
Investigations continue.
