Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Mereseini Vuniwaqa has not made any comments in relation to reports surfacing that she has resigned.
Questions sent to her from yesterday remain unanswered.
We have also sent questions to Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. They have not made any comments.
It is understood Vuniwaqa had applied for the UN Women Executive Director position.
