Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O’Connor has confirmed that none of the Fijian rugby players who are part of the Barbarians squad were involved in breaking COVID-19 rules which resulted in their match against England being called off.

O’Connor says the Fijian players will be traveling to Paris tomorrow. Players such as Rusiate Nasove, Haereiti Hetet, Tevita Ikanivere, Samuela Tawake, Manueli Ratuniyarawa, Simione Kuruvoli, and Serupepeli Vularika are part of the Barbarians squad.

The players who were involved in the breach, left their hotel bubble to have dinner at a London restaurant.

Former England captain Chris Robshaw is among the players who have apologized.

Robshaw, Richard Wigglesworth, Sean Maitland, and Jackson Wray were among the 12 players who stood down from the fixture, along with a number of other Saracens players.

Robshaw, who is set to join San Diego Legion in the US, expressed his deepest apologies for leaving the hotel post-training with some of my team-mates.
