The postponed Rugby League World Cup will now take place between October and November next year.
The World Cup will be played in between the Commonwealth Games and the FIFA World Cup.
This year's planned event was postponed following team withdrawals due to COVID-19 concerns.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Italy and Scotland.
