Police officers from the old Nakasi Police Station and Eastern Division Headquarters in Nausori have relocated to the new Nakasi Police Station in Davuilevu Housing today.
Police ACP Administration Meli Sateki says the new building includes the station and two separate barracks costing around $35 million.
It is home to 500 police officers with various units and holding cells for both males and females.
Work on the construction began in 2019.
