Fijian-born Wallabies winger Mark Nawaqanitawase and Flying Fijians winger Manasa Mataele both scored a try each for the Waratahs and the Western Force respectively, but it was the Tahs that came out on top with a 36-16 win over the home side in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash last night.
Both wingers were on top of their games for their respective teams with Mataele topping the carries stats with a total of 15 carries and gaining 74 metres.
Nawaqanitawase was impressive with ball in hand as well with the Tahs terrorising the Force’s defence and converting penalties into points.
Tahs headed into halftime with a comfortable 22-6 lead.
Meanwhile, after 8 rounds of the Super Rugby Pacific competition, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has dropped to 8th place with 13 points.
The Chiefs currently share the lead at the top of the table with the Brumbies with 31 points.
