Southern Forest Navua FC has booked a place in the semi finals of the Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament after beating Nadi 2-1 at Prince Charles Park today.
Zainal Ali and Kolinio Sivoki scored for Navua while William Valentine scored for Nadi through a penalty kick.
Navua coach Saiyad Ali says the team has worked on their set pieces and will continue to do so to keep the momentum alive in their game structure.
He also acknowledged the fans for gathering in numbers to support the team.
In today’s matches, Labasa beat Suva 2-0 while Lautoka beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 5-1.
