The family of Sikeli Nawaqa from Rio Settlement, Navua, is still in shock after receiving a call from the owner of Agri Fresh Farm in Perth, Western Australia, informing them that their father had passed away following a car accident on Sunday afternoon.
Nawaqa's wife, Sulueti Naula told fijivillage News that the last time her husband called was at 2pm Sunday.
Naula says her husband never missed a day without calling and taking the time to talk to their children and family before going to work.
She says her husband was the family's sole breadwinner and fully supported their children's education.
Naula adds the family had been looking forward to his return in October after his six-month contract, but now they will meet him in a coffin.
The 37-year-old mother says she is encouraging their children to be strong and study hard, as their father is no longer with them.
Naula also highlighted that they are still waiting for the post-mortem results.
