Natabua and Jasper Williams lead the boys and girls division after day 1 of the Lautoka Zone

Natabua High School and Jasper Williams High School are currently leading the boys and girls division respectively in the Lautoka Zone competition at Churchill Park after day 1 of competition.

Natabua is leading the boys division with 15 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze, Tilak High School is in second place with 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze and Lautoka Andhra Sangam College is in third spot with 2 gold and 4 silver.

In the girls division, Jasper Williams is leading with 15 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze, Natabua High School is in second place with 5 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze while Saint Thomas High School is in third spot with 4 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.

Meanwhile, Nemani Mudrelagi of Natabua High School won the senior boys blue ribbon event this afternoon.

Mudrelagi clocked a manual time of 10.63 seconds, while Jolame Vunisa of Ba Provincial Free Bird Institue came in second place with a manual time of 10.67 seconds.

Jasper Williams High School sprint queen, Vika Bavui won the senior girls 100 metres with a manual time of 10.95 seconds.

Day 2 of competition will begin this hour and will see the finals of the 800m, 200m and the relay events.
