The Nanuku Auberge Resort in Pacific Habour is working to ensure their staff are still employed and getting paid despite lack of tourist arrivals.

The resort employs more than 160 people from Navua, Pacific Habour and other areas.

General Manager Logan Miller says the resort is closed for guests at the moment but they have jobs available for their staff.

Miller says despite having no guests, they have been able to maintain a full complement of staff but they are on reduced hours and are only working three to fours days a week.

He says they are taking this time out to complete project and maintenance work around the resort. Shanil
