A Solovi Nadi based air conditioning technician, Sitiveni Tavakece who stole a pistol and some other items from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Blackrock Army Camp in Nadi, will be sentenced on Monday.
Tavakece has been found guilty of two counts of theft and one count of unlawful possession of firearms.
He had gone to repair an air conditioning unit at Blackrock when he stole the gun and some souvenir items last month.
He remains in custody.
