A 25-year-old man from Malawai, Nadi has passed away following a road accident early this morning.
Police say the accident occurred along Queens Road near Naisoso after 2am.
They say a truck driven by a 31-year-old Lautoka man allegedly hit the victim.
He was rushed to the Nadi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police say the driver will be questioned soon as investigations continue.
