The New South Wales Blues have clinched the 2021 State of Origin series after thrashing Queensland 26-0 in the second game at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane last night.

The Blues had won the first match 50-6.

Tries from Josh-Addo Carr, Tom Trbojevic and Latrell Mitchell saw NSW take a commanding 18-0 lead at the break.

Addo-Carr scored his second try in the second half to seal a remarkable victory.

Fiji Bati reps Tariq Sims and Daniel Saifiti played instrumental roles in the win and led the Blues forward pack from the front.

It is also the first time since 1994 when a team has been held to zero in an Origin match.

NSW captain James Tedesco was named man of the match.

The third game of the series will played in three weeks time.
