Moana Pasifika coach Aaron Mauger says he had to keep the standards inside the team high when deciding to stand down two players for tomorrow’s Super Rugby Pacific game against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.

Centre Levi Aumua and lock Samuel Slade were both made unavailable for the game at CommBank Stadium for breaking team protocol

The game against Fijian Drua is an historic occasion as it will be the first time the new clubs will play each other.

They will clash in western Sydney where there is a large Pacific Island community.

Moana Pasifika has come close to winning their last two games, but went down 26-22 to the Rebels and lost 26-20 to the Waratahs.

The Fijian Drua will meet Moana Pasifika at 4.35pm tomorrow.
