The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto confirms a military officer breached quarantine rules at a border quarantine facility.
Commander Naupoto says the officer came into contact with those in the quarantine facility.
Naupoto says the officer will be dealt with after his quarantine period.
He has also sent a message to those serving in quarantine facilities to be vigilant.
The Commander of the RFMF says they are only sending officers to border quarantine facilities who are under 35 years of age and they are also doing their rotations.
