The Methodist Church of Fiji will be focusing on the three main pillars of its new strategic plan that is Evangelism, Education and Economic Sustainability.
This was highlighted by the President of the Methodist Church of Fiji Reverend Ili Vunisuwai after he officially opened their four day conference this morning at Furnival Park in Toorak.
Reverend Vunisuwai says the implementation of the three pillars addresses the proclamation of the good news, the teaching of their churches and the healing of every disease and sickness among the people of Fiji.
He says awareness programs on their strategic directions are continuing through their divisions and circuits.
The President of the Methodist Church hopes that the message will be passed through to their congregation and every household.
Reverend Vunisuwai also focused his address on the three issues that are fundamental in their effective and efficient service delivery.
He says to achieve the implementation of the three pillars in their 10-year strategic plan, one must be fit and has a good sense of leadership.
He also highlighted the four issues that they will be focusing on during their meeting.
Reverend Vunisuwai says they will stress on physical well-being, good leadership, climate change, and the continuation of educating their congregation on the protection of women and children from all avenues of abuse.
