Marist Brothers High School Head Boy, Isoa Tute Dakunimata, has received the Dux Award for Year 13 students after achieving the highest mark of 373 out of 400 in the annual examination.
Dakunimata also received a Certificate in Marist Values and an Academic Excellence Award.
He says being raised by his mother and her family has motivated him to continue striving for excellence.
He adds that he has applied to the Fiji Aviation School and the Fiji School of Medicine to further his studies.
Dakunimata is also encouraging other students to work hard and make their parents proud of the sacrifices they have made.
