Marist Brothers High School Head Boy, Isoa Dakunimata, has delivered a heartfelt message to young people across Fiji, urging them to stay away from drugs and rise above the daily pressures they face.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Dakunimata acknowledged the growing challenges students encounter both at school and at home but emphasized that resorting to drugs is never the answer.

His message comes as national efforts to combat drug use continue, with schools, communities, and government agencies working together to promote healthy and drug-free lifestyles.

Despite his academic success and leadership role, Dakunimata openly shared that he too faces difficulties—particularly with time management as he balances schoolwork and his responsibilities as Head Boy.

He says it’s not always easy, but staying focused and grounded in faith helps him keep going. As a role model, Dakunimata’s advice to his peers was firm, sincere, and rooted in values.
