Manchester United – Liverpool EPL match postponed amid protests
Manchester United vs Liverpool has been postponed amid safety concerns following fan protests at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's English Premier League game against Liverpool has been postponed after about 200 fans broke into Old Trafford to protest against the Glazer family's ownership of the club.

The fixture was scheduled to kick off at 5.30 this morning.

Manchester City would have won the EPL this morning if Manchester United had lost to Liverpool.

English Premier League says this is a collective decision from the police, both clubs, the League and local authorities.

Talks will now take place about re-arranging the game.

Supporters are currently not allowed into grounds because of the coronavirus pandemic but United fans got on to the Old Trafford pitch to protest and, even though they were removed, some then made it back on to the grass later on.

They were protesting against the Clubs involvement in the now-abandoned European Super League.
