Management of our game is work in progress - Harris

The management of our game is an ongoing work in progress and we have players who are stepping up to the Super Rugby level with their skill sets.

This was stated by Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Assistant Coach Brad Harris after being asked by fijivillage News about what they are doing to reduce the aimless offloading by the players that sometimes cost them.

He says these players have learned the craft at that highest level and the coaches and trainers do not want to stop how the boys play their game as it is what the Fijians are known for and that is their traditional flair.

Harris says in terms of kicking, it is not one of the strengths of their game but they have seen improvements in that area.

He further says it is all about staying on task and focusing on the main objective.

The Drua host the Queensland Reds at 4.35pm Saturday.

Gates at the HFC Bank Stadium open at 1.35pm.

You can buy your tickets from Jack’s of Fiji outlets, Fiji Sports Council offices, or online at drua.flicket.io.

In other games this week, the Blues will play the Highlanders at 7.05pm Friday, the Brumbies meet the Rebels at 9.35pm, the Hurricanes host the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday, the Waratahs play Moana Pasifika at 9.35pm Saturday and the Western Force host the Chiefs at 12am Sunday.
