The man who was found unresponsive along Renwick Road at 5am Wednesday has passed away.
Police say the relatives of the man have come forward to identify him.
The man is believed to have been a victim of serious assault, was unresponsive and was rushed to the CWM Hospital.
They add investigators will await the post mortem examination results, and will decide on the next course of action once the man's cause of death is confirmed.
