The man alleged to have caused the death of his partner in Nakasi on Friday afternoon is still admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
Police have confirmed this to fijivillage News.
A police officer was posted at the hospital yesterday to guard the man.
Nakasi Police discovered the woman, in her 30s, motionless inside her bedroom.
Further enquiries confirmed that the suspect had been admitted to hospital due to injuries allegedly sustained during the domestic dispute with the victim.
Investigations are ongoing.
