A 45-year-old man has been remanded for allegedly assaulting his 30-year-old stepson at their residence in Tamavua.
He is charged with one count of Causing Actual Bodily Harm.
The man told the court that he has already sought forgiveness from the son.
Magistrate Joseph Daurewa says by the law, his right to bail is set aside as he is also facing charges of Domestic Violence.
His case has been adjourned to the 8th of May.
