A man was produced in court for the alleged murder of his 28-year-old brother whose body was found in Dreketi Settlement, Nalawa, Rakiraki on Monday.
36-year-old Samisoni Vurumatana is charged with one count of murder.
Rakiraki Magistrate Lisiate Fotofili has remanded him in custody.
The matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and will be called on the 23rd of February.
Police had earlier said the man was last seen alive with his brother on Monday afternoon.
His body was found lying motionless in a compound later that afternoon.
