A man in his 40s has died after the tree he was tying to be pulled by a machine fell on him.
Police say the incident happened yesterday at Wacawaca Settlement, Nayarabale in Labasa.
He was rushed to the Coqeloa Health Centre but was unfortunately pronounced dead.
