A man in his 50’s from Keiyasi Village is believed to have drowned yesterday morning after he was found floating in a river near the village in Navosa.
Police say the man had gone to his farm and moments later was found floating in the river by a 53-year-old farmer.
Several attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
44 people drowned last year.
