A man in his 40’s has died following an accident at the Laqere Bridge in Nasinu yesterday afternoon.
Director of Traffic Senior Superintendent of Police, Mitieli Divuana says the man is alleged to have suddenly crossed the road when he was hit by a car driven by a 29-year-old man.
The man was rushed to the Valelevu Health Centre but was pronounced dead on arrival.
SSP Divuana says the driver will be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
