police has identified a suspect for allegedly assaulting and robbing a woman in her 60s at her home in Koronivia, Nausori yesterday.
Divisional Police Commander Eastern, Senior Superintendent of Police Josua Vodo says the woman is still admitted at the CWM Hospital and is under observation but she is in a stable condition.
He says police investigations are continuing.
Neighbours say the woman was alone at home when it is alleged that a man entered from the back door of the house and seriously assaulted her.
They say she sells vegetables from a shed in front of her house.
Eyewitnesses also say that they saw a man wearing a brown vest, running out of the house.
