A man in his 20s is in police custody after allegedly killing his 86-year-old grandfather in Lutu, Wainibuka with a cane knife.
The incident happened yesterday morning at Navokadamu Settlement, where the elderly man was reportedly attacked.
Police say the suspect was arrested after the matter was reported to Vunidawa Police Station.
He remains in custody as investigations continue.
