A man in his late 40s has passed away in a road accident along Valley Road in Navula, Sigatoka last night.
Police say it is alleged he died as a result of injuries sustained during the accident.
The man who was from Draiba Village was a passenger in a vehicle driven by another from Sawene, Navosa.
The driver allegedly failed to negotiate a bend causing the vehicle to veer off the road.
The victim died at the scene of the accident while the driver and a 14-year-old student from Draiba Village who was also a passenger are currently admitted in the Sigatoka Hospital.
