A man in his 50s has passed away following an accident along the Queens Highway yesterday afternoon.
Police say the man while driving near Wainisalato, Naboro allegedly lost control of his vehicle causing it to veer on to the opposite lane where it hit a 6 tonne truck.
He was rushed to the CWM Hospital where he unfortunately passed away.
The road death toll currently stands at 22 compared to 6 for the same period last year.
