The man who allegedly kicked his son in the chest has been charged and produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court.
In a disturbing video that is going viral on social media, the 37-year-old father can be seen kicking his young son in the chest at Wailoaloa Beach after his mother put him down.
He has been charged with one count of common assault and was produced in court on Monday.
He has been granted bail and a Domestic Violence Restraining Order has been issued against him.
The case has been adjourned to the 28th of July.
