Queensland Maroons fullback AJ Brimson is out of the rest of the State of Origin series after suffering a leg injury in their 18-14 win over the New South Wales Blues on Wednesday night.
Brimson who was making his debut scored a try in the game.
Valentine Holmes is likely to replace Brimson in the position.
Game 2 between Queensland and New South Wales is at 10.10pm next Wednesday in Sydney.
