Local businesses will now be able to sell and buy products online after the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Tourism and Post Fiji signed a Memorandum of Understanding today.
Post Fiji CEO, Anirudha Bansod says considering the ongoing crisis, this will give people opportunity to do business without having to leave their home and come into contact with other people.
The Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Trade and Transport Shaheen Ali says by doing this they are providing the platform small and medium businesses in the country to sell online.
Ali says these modes of doing business are now considered the new normal in the COVID-19 Pandemic.
