Carabao Cup defending champion Liverpool has booked a grand final showdown against Newcastle following their 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspurs this morning.
Liverpool was on top from the start and scored their first goal in the 34th minute through Cody Gakpo to give them a 1-0 lead at the break.
They went on to score three more goals in the second half through Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Virgil van Dijk.
The win saw them gain a 4-1 aggregate win over the Spurs after they lost 1-0 in the first leg of the second semi final last week.
Liverpool will take on Newcastle at Wembley Stadium next Sunday.
