Less people were noticed lining up to do exchanges at the border near the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge and the border near the bridge at Rups Nakasi this morning.
This was observed by Legend FM News between 10.30am and 11.30am today.
We also saw less movement of vehicles with passes across the borders today.
There was more movement at the Nakasi border compared to the border at Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge.
Police officers manning the checkpoints near the borders are now wearing face shields on top of the masks.
Compared to last week, we also saw less people at the bus stops we passed across Suva and Nasinu this morning.
Taxi stands across Suva and Nasinu were packed with taxis this morning.
We also saw less people moving around and walking on the road in the settlements and communities we went past.
