A 24-year-old businesswoman of Cumming Street, Suva and a 39-year-old caretaker from Gaji Road, Samabula appeared before Magistrate Waleen George today after they were allegedly found with methamphetamine and marijuana.
Ashnita Lata and Sandeep Anand have been released on bail and will take their plea on 14th October.
They were stopped and searched by a team of officers along Cumming Street on Wednesday afternoon.
Methamphetamine and marijuana were allegedly found in their possession during that search.
Lata and Anand are facing one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
