The Lal Singh Road water project which is a major component of the new Viria Water Treatment Plant has been completed at a cost of $3 million.
Minister for Infrastructure Jone Usamate has told parliament that the project involves the enlarging of the main water pipeline from 375mm to 600mm and it runs for about 1.1 km.
He says this allows for the greater flow of water from the Viria Water Treatment Plant.
