Labasa soccer coach, Ronil Lal has resigned.
Labasa Football Association President, Rayaz Khan says Lal is stepping down as his house was severely damaged during the recent flooding caused by Tropical Cyclone Ana.
Khan says it would be difficult for Lal to continue coaching the team.
Labasa will face Suva in the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion Series next weekend.
