Defending champions, New Zealand head pool A alongside Samoa, USA and Chile.
South Africa, who finished as runners up in Sydney is in pool B with Ireland, Uruguay and Canada while France, Great Britain, Argentina and Spain make up pool D.
The LA 7s will be held from the 25th to the 26th of February, 2023.
