A 23-year-old man who has been charged with one count of sacrilege after breaking into the Ram Mandir Temple in Kulukulu earlier this month, appeared in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court today.
Abishek Kumar from Vunikavika Settlement, Nayawa, Sigatoka has been remanded for 14 days.
Kumar allegedly stole more than $4,000 worth of electrical items and money from inside the temple.
Most of the items have been recovered.
