New Zealand test hooker Brandon Smith says that he has been assured that he will be the heir to Cameron Smith's No.9 jersey at the Melbourne Storm.
Smith says that it's been a really hard re-pre-season and that coach Craig Bellamy has really put them through the works because he wants them to be ready for the season.
He says he is happy to be learning from Smith.
Melbourne Storm will relaunch their season with a home game against Canberra on Saturday.
